Description
Inside Arthurstone Library. Applique and stitched panel. Info from artist: "I made this in 1985 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Hiroshima. The design had won a Scotland-wide competition. It used to hang in the Wellgate Centre library" - presumably relocated when that was refurbished. According to Pauline Hann: "It was organised by Bill Edgar who taught Town Planning in the Art College. I think it was organised on behalf of CND. The judge for the competion was Will Maclean."
