On outer walls of Overgate Centre, along Marketgait, Nethergate, Overgate and Bank Street. Dundee Public Art Programme. Commissioned for Lend Lease as part of the development of the new Overgate shopping centre (cost £185,000). The 25 bronze sculptures each represent a different aspect of life or inhabitant of the old Overgate. The first panel to be positioned was Three Buds, symbolising the regrowth, regeneration and renewal of the Overgate. Made at Archibald Young foundry in Kirkintilloch.
