Painted and galvanised steel. Blacksmith Jim Whitson. Info from artist: A sculpture was needed to liven up a long stretch of concrete flood prevention wall at Victoria Docks. A sailmakers yard was once near the site of the wall, hence the use of a needle and thread theme.
