Bronze winged seeds cast at Powderhall Bronze Foundry. Stone acorns made of Doddington Sandstone. Scorched oak benches. Stone reliefs in the walls of various sandstones. Engineer John Addison. Funded by Springfield Properties. Info from the artist: The sculptures celebrate the arrival and development of a new community. The oak for the benches was cut from a large fallen oak tree near Peebles. The stone acorns and reliefs were carved at my studio near Peebles.
