Description
Features extracts from William McGonagall’s 1878 poem, ‘The Railway Bridge of the Silvery Tay’. In three instances the word ‘beautiful’ is misspelled, and it is debated whether this represents a mistake on the letter cutter’s part, or (as was claimed when this was initially pointed out) faithfulness to the original source manuscript.
