Description
Dundee Public Art Programme. Began with bollard at top of Couttie’s Wynd (funded by Dundee District Council, £4,000), then Murraygate (1993-4), High Street (1995), Panmure St and Cowgate (c.1995-6) over next few years (funded by DDC & Scottish Enterprise Tayside, with support from European Regional Development Fund). Bollards based on liles from coat of arms and twisted jute rope. Information boards in High Street added 1996, made by Great British Bollard Company and funded by Scottish Enterprise Tayside (£10,000).
