Description
Info from City Council: "‘Tay Haze’ located on Broughty Ferry’s esplanade, is an abstract work depicting a silhouette of the human form in motion. Constructed using strips of polished metal, the sculpture appears partially transparent with its appearance and shape subtly changing as you approach and walk around it." One of various public art projects created as part of the Broughty Ferry to Monifieth Active Travel Improvement Scheme with funding from Transport Scotland through the Sustrans Places For Everyone Programme. The £100k contract was awarded to Simmons following an open tender process to create "a bespoke landmark sculpture".
